Chef Rene J. Marquis was an United States Army combat veteran and chef of 21 years before retiring in 2014. He has cooked for U.S. Presidents, Kings, Sultans and Presidents around the globe.
He has starred in Café Mom Studios' Dinner Boot Camp to help prepare healthy, quick dinners for families on the go. In 2013, Chef Marquis appeared as a culinary contestant on Alton Brown's Cutthroat Kitchen on the Food Network Channel where he won Season 1, Episode 7.
For the past 13 years, Chef Marquis has been an American Culinary Federation (ACF) Judge. He is the President of the (ACF), Tampa Bay Chapter, and is on the ACF Culinary Team, USA 2020.
He currently resides in Tampa Bay, Florida.
